COURSE OVERVIEW

Introduction to the Mac NEW! New to the Mac environment or new to computers? Learn about the Mac OS as well as common software included with the system. Understand the Mac Internet experience and work with common Mac applications. You will learn the essentials: icons in OS X, multi-touch gestures, set your preferences, the finder, the desktop, the dock, stacks, mission control, modify your windows, and change your screen saver.

COURSE OUTLINE

• Customize your Mac computer.
• Learn the basics in Finder and Launchpad.
• Learn how to use the dock: add and remove applications.
• Learn how to use mail and the address book.
• Learn how to use Safari, create bookmarks, download files.
• Learn how to use iCal and create schedules.
• Learn how to use iChat, create buddy icons with Photo Booth.
• Learn a variety of Mac tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your Mac.
