Confined Space Entry Awareness and Protocol

COURSE OVERVIEW

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to recognize confined spaces, describe hazards found in these spaces and outline the controls for these hazards. Training is to the 632/05 Confined Space Regulation and includes practical confined space entry sessions in our 40 foot mobile training unit. On completion, participants will be able to follow regulation to do as required to be able to assess and enter a Confined Space. Further training may be required to comply with the regulation and hazards found. Fall protection is part of the practical portion as theses skills are required for working on our training unit.

Definition of confined spaces. Hazards. Reg 632/05. Corrosion control. Practical training utilizing the mobile unit.
